Our contributors are back to help connect theological truths to everyday believers for their good and God’s glory.

After an extended hiatus, the team at Everyday Theology is eager to once again connect theological truths to everyday believers like you on a consistent basis. We have so appreciated all the encouraging and thoughtful feedback shared with us during our break from so many of our viewers. Your request for our content to return on a regular basis was a genuine motivation for our team to relaunch Everyday Theology. To you, we say “Thank You!”
What’s new with our contributors?
In our first post since resuming the ministry of Everyday Theology, our contributors would like to take a moment to provide a life update for our viewers. So much life has happened since you last heard from us in February of 2024.

Hey, everyone! It’s GREAT to be back in the saddle of getting out content to you as the Everyday Theology team. I’m so excited that this legacy lives on with the team we have assembled. There have been some changes and some things stay the same. My wife, Curry, and I married on September 6, 2024, and live in Jonesboro, AR, with our three boys. I currently work during the day at a local insurance agency and Curry is an oncology nurse. Since we last spoke (or your heard from us), we welcomed a beautiful new baby boy, Keller James, and he has been the greatest joy in our household over the summer. It is a joy to be back and I cannot wait to get back to seeing and hearing from all of you as we continue to connect theological truths to everyday believers!

Hello, friends! I will soon celebrate my 10 year wedding anniversary with my bride, Megan, in October. Our son, Maddux, just started Pre-K and is growing up too fast. I continue to serve the saints at the Good Springs Free Will Baptist Church in Pleasant View, TN as Lead Pastor. During the Everyday Theology hiatus, I was able to complete degree requirements for the Master of Divinity (M.Div) at the Welch College School of Divinity in Gallatin, TN, and I am currently enrolled at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY where I will pursue a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) degree in Applied Theology. I remain passionate about Free Will Baptist doctrine and our theological traditional, expositional preaching, and Baptist ecclesiology. Outside of my family and pastoral ministry, I continue coaching baseball at Sycamore Middle School in Pleasant View as an assistant coach and serving in various capacities within the Free Will Baptist denomination. I am eager for the ministry of Everyday Theology to resume in connecting theological truths to everyday believers.

Welcome back, readers. We’re thrilled to be back with you and are excited about the future at ET. Since you last heard from me, our fourth child, Stella Jayne, was born in March of 2025. My family and I still have the privilege to serve at First FWB Church in Columbus, Georgia and in November will begin the fifth year of ministry here. The Lord has graciously continued to grow the congregation and we are thrilled to see what God has in store in coming days. While the time off from Everyday Theology was necessary and refreshing, I am eager to once again serve our readers and listeners coming very soon!

Hello, reader! I am excited to share this update with you as part of our relaunch here at Everyday Theology. You last heard from me in early 2024, and we have some catching up to do. One of the first things I want to share with you is that in May 2024, my daughter Tallulah was born, and Laci and I became first-time parents. We praise God for the gift of our daughter! I continue to serve as the Connections Pastor at Formation Church in Chandler, Indiana, under the shepherding ministry of Daniel Edwards. I am responsible for our hospitality team, lead our Growth Track course, and help onboard new ministry volunteers. I work full-time as a 911 dispatcher in addition to my responsibilities at Formation Church. I am excited about our relaunch here at Everyday Theology. I have missed the team, and all of you, during our time away!
What viewers can expect moving forward.
Ben, Mike, Matt, and Dustin are committed to regularly equipping every day believers with theological truth that can be applied to all of life. The ministry of Everyday Theology exists to connect faith and reason, truth and life, belief and practice together. Our contributors pledge to do this through blog posts, podcasts, interviews, and social media engagement so that Christ might be formed in the lives of all who come into contact with Everyday Theology.
To this end, Everyday Theology returns for the praise of His glory!
Ephesians 3:20-21 “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
